Influenza A is here : (

Hannah has Influenza Type A. Doctor swabbed her for the test and then said it usually takes around 15 - 20 minutes to get results. Hers came back positive within a matter of a few minutes. The Dr said it's the fastest she has ever seen that happen. So Hannah is not just fast in sports!! Seriously, I don't know what that means but she's on the inhalation medicine called Relenza for 5 days to hopefully shorten the duration of this. Guess she's out of school for the rest of the week. BTW, the rest of the family took the flu vaccine so we should be pretty safe. ( Hannah can't take the flu vaccine because of her immune response to the last one she took a couple of years ago). Darn, I was hoping she could've avoided this. Her birthday is in 2 days. Update later.....
