Over the last few days....

The 150th anniversary "re-enactment" of the Battle of Chancellorsville on Saturday was like stepping way back in time - seeing all the tents and soldiers and even the ladies all decked out in their Civil War era finery was just amazing. Even Gaga was able to go with us and walk around the encampment. Ian, later that night, went to the FCS version of the Jr/Sr prom. They call it Extravaganza. Savannah was his date and they looked beautiful. Jacob had his last JV baseball game of the year on Monday. And of course the week would not be complete without working on Gaga's place. We have been able to finish the sitting room ( well, all it lacks is an area rug) and a few more pictures on the wall. But, she is able to enjoy it now and I go down and join her there every morning for coffee before I leave for work. Her bedroom is put together as well. We still need to finish putting all her extra stuff away  - but for now all the extra boxes and things are spread out over the family room and she goes through a little everyday! I think when I am finally finished with the school year the loose ends will get tied up nicely. In the mean time, Kevin is busy working on her walk out patio area which is gonna be the bomb!

So funny to see digital cameras in the hands of these Civil War era ladies. Sorta out of place, but funny!

Amazing!

Not a car in site!
