The team room where everyone eats, sleeps, rests between games. It's wall to wall teams, parents, sleeping bags, food. Crazy...
Hannah and I got up EARLY and left the house by 6am. Drove down to Williamsburg for an all day volleyball tournament with her tournament team.It was a tough decision to go play VB because her JV b'ball team played yesterday too. The volleyball tournament was the right choice....Hannah plays for APEX volleyball club in the U15 age group. Instead of being in our normal regional group we found out yesterday that we were being grouped with the National teams. That just means harder teams - one of them being another club team from Fredericksburg - the FJVC National team. This is a big rivalry (according to the other parents -I'm a rookie parent here) and the coach just told them to "Not give up and play hard" thinking that we probably were in for a rough game. We beat them ! Hannah was great and really served the ball well. Very cool thing to watch as a parent. She's got game!!
